Ulysses

[edit]

Hi. Why did you remove the disambiguation notice from Ulysses? RickK 02:45, 23 Feb 2004 (UTC)

I don't not remember ever doing that. Sorry.

Baltimore Polytechnic Institute

[edit]

Just in case you're curious, I'm not an alumnus. It just so happens that your alma mater provides some good historical info on their website :-) --Diberri | Talk 01:34, Aug 20, 2004 (UTC)

Why did you change "Notable alumni" to "Notable students"? I think "alumni" sounds better and is more accurate; those listed clearly aren't students there anymore. --Diberri | Talk 17:34, Aug 20, 2004 (UTC)
I changed it since some the people on the list of alumni did not graduate for the school.--chemica 22:05, 4 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the quick reply. ;-) --David Iberri (talk) 22:52, 4 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi thank you for joining the WikiProject. Being a small group currently there is still plenty of scope for influencing things and making your contribution count. We are about establishing standards for Novel based articles and writing articles that meet our own and others high standards, and to improve Wikipedia's diet of articles on Fiction books, otherwise called Novels. If you have any questions, do ask. Please be very welcome. :: Kevinalewis : (Talk Page) 18:57, 26 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

G20 Countries Map

[edit]

I was wondering if you would be able to update it. On the G20 developing nations talk page, there have been some discussion of some discrepancies between the map and know G20 countries, even considering the fluncuation in member countries. --chemica 22:54, 25 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'll gladly assist. I have updated the map accordingly and uploaded it to commons. The second en.wiki counterpart is deleted it will start working. You may visit commons:Image:G20 countries (DN).png to view it.
I can create/update such images with pleasure, feel free to drop me a message anytime.

Mado (fish)

[edit]

You have added fish-stub to this article. I think it is far from being a stub, & far from Wikipedia's definition of a stub. All it lacks is a picture, but that doesn't mean it is a stub. Could you please explain your reasoning. Thanks GrahamBould 07:54, 5 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The fact that is lacks a picture is the least of the articles issues. The key thing is that there is not real importance information in the article. I couldn't tell you from that article whehter or not the Mado (fish) is importance to its ecosystem or a taxanomic curiousity. --chemica 14:27, 5 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Please see [1]. I do not agree that the mado article conforms. Just because an article does not cover every single aspect does not make it a stub. GrahamBould 06:35, 6 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello Chemica! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 331 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Sexappeal, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Dominican (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
